At the end of January, NeighborSpace had the pleasure of hosting our fourth annual Stewardship Luncheon at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood in Dundalk. Initially created to thank our stewardship partners for their hard work, the luncheon has also provided a way to foster communication and cooperation between park stewards from all around urban Baltimore County.
Our stewardship partners are critical to the success of NeighborSpace parks and sites. They are neighborhood leaders who donate hours of their time and energy to maintain their sites and help facilitate NeighborSpace events. Along with both staff and board members, we were fortunate to have representatives from nine of NeighborSpace’s parks, including Adelaide Bentley Park, Bear Creek Historical Trail, Carroll Watkins Park, Chestnut Park, Graystone Community Open Space, Greenbrier Memorial Garden, Cape Newburg Park, Powhatan Park, and Tollgate Wyndham Preserve.
We cannot thank our stewardship partners enough for all your hard work, year in and year out. We’ll see you out at our sites this spring!
