Thanks to donations from generous supporters like you, NeighborSpace was able to hire three interns this summer to help with stewardship work and communications projects. We want to help young conservationists gain fieldwork and behind-the-scenes experience, and staff is grateful for the extra hands and minds! Hi! I am Ashley Metzbower. I just graduated from UMBC with a B.S. in Geography and Environmental Science. I am super excited to be an intern for NeighborSpace this summer to help monitor and maintain their sites for both the people and the ecosystems within them!! I am especially eager to spend time outside and learn more about different local plant species.
