Hello everyone, my name is Will Kaselow and I am so excited to be joining NeighborSpace of Baltimore County as the new Community Conservation Manager! I know I have big shoes to fill, so I’m eager to start getting to know everyone and hit the ground running this spring.
Originally from the beautiful Garden State of New Jersey, I have moved around quite a bit while building a career in ecology and environmental outreach. I moved to Baltimore City in 2023 to attend UMBC, where I earned my M.S. in Geography and Environmental Systems. At UMBC, I conducted community-engaged research focused on understanding different approaches to environmental education in and around the city. I fell for the area in the process and began to put down roots.
You can often find me exploring green spaces around the city and county from Patterson Park to Rocky Point, Loch Raven, Patapsco Valley State Park, and more. I am excited to learn about the many hidden gems that NeighborSpace supports while working with communities to restore and conserve their beautiful green spaces. See you all soon!
Hi Will. I worked with Amanda and phyllis on the neighbors for native plants program and just wanted to connect with you. I think we have a lot of interest together and I’d like to find out how I can help with some of the work that you’re doing also, interested in your background I believe there’s some GIS tools that could help do some of the work that could be done so give me a call if you get a chance 410-961-8132 and we’ll chat thanks Bye.
