Ahead of NeighborSpace’s 20th Anniversary, Keep Maryland Beautiful Awards a Janice Hollmann Grant for Seasonal Paid Intern

April 22, 2022 – We are happy to announce that Keep Maryland Beautiful awarded NeighborSpace a Janice Hollmann grant for the hiring of a seasonal paid intern.

This temporary intern will be working in the execution of plans related to NeighborSpace of Baltimore County’s 20th anniversary. Working with our Executive Director, the intern will assist in the many overarching goals established for our 20th anniversary campaign as well as help establish and articulate a vision for the next 20 years.

Janice Hollmann Grants of up to $10,000 are awarded to Maryland land trusts to increase capacity, support community programing and innovation and foster stronger, better connected land trusts. All grants require a 100% match from the land trust of in-kind services and privately raised funds. The grant is given in memory of Janice Hollmann, who exemplified citizen leadership of local land trusts in Maryland.

The search for our intern is underway and we hope to have this position filled within the next couple of weeks.

We would like to thank Keep Maryland Beautiful for this award and for all their support for local land trusts and our efforts in keeping Maryland beautiful and green.
